Well the withdrawal pains have become too severe and I have waited long enough. Time to set the 300g tank back up. Here is a link to the original build thread for this system when it was originally put together:

It became necessary to take the system down because we moved all the way from Lemon Grove to La Mesa. This house we are in now has a garage that is separate from the house and that is where this system will be set up. I'm moving up in the world...my Man Cave went from a 9x10 TuffShed to a full blown garage. The system will basically be the same setup as before. Here is a list of the highlights:
- 300g Leemar tank, 96"L x 24"W x 30"T, Starphire front, dual overflows, drilled for two 1.5" and two 1" bulkheads in each overflow
- 100g SeaClear acrylic tank modified for use as a sump
- 60g Glass tank for refugium
- MRC 3R Dual Beckett skimmer
- Two GenX 40 return pumps
- One Baldor 5500gph Sequence pump for closed loop
- BRS Dual GFO/Carbon reactor
- Melevsreef RO/DI system, 50gpd
- 75g SeaClear tank (Will be used for macro algea display tank)
- Four 250w Halide lamps with Lumenarc mini reflectors
- Icecap 440 Ballast for actinic T-5 supplementation
- Digital Aquatics RKE system for monitoring and control
- Neptune Apex system for monitoring and comparisons
I am working on the stand at the moment and I hope to have most of the hardware in place before I leave the country at the end of the month. My goal is to have water in it by the end of December. Thanks to some suggestions from Shelly, I am going to do the rock work very different from what it originally was. I will basically build three islands instead of the shelf style that I originally had. This should be interesting. I will need all the room I can get for the number of fish I am planning to have. Once I get a few things placed, I will begin to post some pics. I will have at least one webcam up and running as well. Stay tuned for future posts and links to a cam.
